UWP Consulting Tanzania Ltd (UWP) is a private company which was founded and registered in 2005 and represents a partnership between Tanzanian professionals and Mariswe Holdings of South Africa. Mariswe (Pty) Ltd (formerly known as UWP Consulting (Pty) Ltd) is a well established and respected South African based civil and structural engineering consulting practice, which has been active in Sub-Saharan Africa since 1972. The Tanzanian shareholders have majority shareholding in the company.

Being in service since 2005, the entire professional staff of UWP are involved in undertaking a broad range of engineering consulting services in fields such as transportation, water supply & sanitation, highway design, structures, geotechnics, construction management, environmental engineering, training and human resource management.

With the significant experience offered by the South African partner, combined with the experience and local knowledge of the Tanzanian experts, the company has been  significantly contributing to the development of Tanzania; and it is hoped that it will not be long before the office diversely  contribute to the development of the other countries of the Africa. Our main objective is to offer an above average and highest quality professional services to the clients and the community as a whole.  In order to achieve this objective, UWP is equipped with the latest computer hardware systems, design software, and ICT tools.
